RegEd is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to maintain and improve on-premises and cloud databases, optimize SQL, and lead incident resolution. The role offers a remote or hybrid work model with potential collaboration across Architecture, QA, and Infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in database analysis or programming.
• Minimum 4 years as Senior Database Developer or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server 2016+ and cloud databases.
• Experience with Azure data services and large multi- TB databases.
• Strong problem-solving and optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain database objects across on-premises and cloud databases.
• Optimize queries and procedures for OLTP/OLAP workloads.
• Lead investigation and resolution of database incidents and SLA-driven alerts.
• Collaborate with Architecture, QA, and Infra to implement standards and improvements.
• Advise on retention, tiering, and archive strategies for large databases.
