Job summary

MedBridge Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to lead end-to-end predictive and risk-adjustment models, collaborating with product and clinical partners to frame problems, choose methods, and deploy models in Snowflake.

You will validate models, ship production-grade code, monitor performance, and retrain as needed while working with product, engineering, and clinical teams to integrate analytics into workflows and inform decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL; disciplined software engineering with testing, version control, code review, and reproducible pipelines.
• Experience with messy real-world healthcare data used by clinicians, administrators, or patients.
• Experience taking a model from an open-ended business goal to a shipped product feature with product and engineering.
• Judgement under constraint: explain tradeoffs and defend choices.
• Clear communication with clinical, product, and leadership audiences about uncertainty and limitations.
• Experience as the first data science or ML hire in an organization.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data science models from framing with product/clinical partners to production in Snowflake.
• Design, validate, and deploy production-grade code and models.
• Monitor, retrain, and measure model impact and usage.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to integrate models into products.
• Ensure responsible, ethical use of healthcare data and document decisions.
