Job summary

MedBridge Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to own predictive and risk-adjustment modeling from framing with product and clinical partners through deployment in production. You will write production-grade code, monitor models in Snowflake, and measure impact on patient outcomes.

We value experience with healthcare data, causal inference, and end-to-end ML delivery in a remote-first environment. You will influence data practices and contribute to responsible use of healthcare data.

Qualifications

• Degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, economics, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent capability developed through professional path.
• Experience with patient-reported outcome measures, risk adjustment, or outcomes benchmarking in healthcare.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR/EMR) or claims data.
• Experience building recommendation systems and measuring adoption/impact.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, validation, and production operation of predictive and risk-adjustment models in production environments.
• Write production-quality code: tested, versioned, reviewed, and reproducible; deploy and monitor in Snowflake with Data Eng.
• Estimate impact of Medbridge products on patient outcomes using experimental and observational methods; shape instrumentation to enable estimates.
• Turn goals into well-posed problems; collaborate with product, engineering, clinical, and customer teams to ship models and establish evaluation/monitoring practices.
