Job summary

Ambu is seeking a Sr. Manager to lead data architecture and platform engineering, building a modern cloud-based data platform from the ground up. You will own architectural standards, data modeling, ETL, and secure platform governance to support analytics, AI, and enterprise applications.

The role offers hybrid/remote work in Columbia, MD or US-wide with significant stakeholder collaboration and a focus on scalable, compliant data solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in data architecture, data engineering, platform engineering, or related technology roles.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams, projects, or enterprise data initiatives.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based data platforms and enterprise data solutions.
• Experience developing and managing data integration processes, ETL pipelines, and large-scale data environments.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, database design, and data governance principles.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Understanding data security, privacy, compliance, and cybersecurity best practices within enterprise environments.
