Job summary

ODAIA is seeking a Senior Data Implementation Engineer to own end-to-end customer implementations and act as a technical escalation point. You will partner with Business Acceleration, Engineering and Product to design scalable data solutions and ensure successful delivery for strategic customers.

This hands-on role requires leading integrations, mentoring junior engineers, and driving improvements in tooling, data quality, and processes while ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with data migration, ETL, and pipeline tools.
• Hands-on Snowflake and AWS experience (Glue, S3) or equivalent cloud data infra.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with APIs and integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow) and declarative pipelines (dbt).
• Strong problem-solving and a customer-centric mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own complex customer implementations from technical discovery to production go-live.
• Build automated ETL workflows for repeatable data ingestion.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Utilize PySpark, Snowflake, and AWS to troubleshoot data issues.
• Define data validation frameworks and ensure high data quality.
• Escalate and resolve implementation challenges and production issues.
• Mentor junior Data Implementation Engineers.
• Drive improvements to standards, tooling, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulations.
