Job summary

Acceldata Inc is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant with deep Hadoop knowledge to own ODP deployments and guide a customer's infrastructure, security and database teams toward sound architectural decisions. This is a hands-on, consultative role blending architecting, engineering, and advisory work.

You will design target-state clusters, perform builds, and ensure a secure, scalable platform that aligns with change-control requirements and enterprise policies.

Qualifications

• Must have deep architectural knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS/YARN/Hive).
• Strong Linux admin skills on RHEL/Ubuntu.
• Experience with Kerberos, LDAP/AD, SSL/TLS and Ranger.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of ODP via Ambari.
• Architect target-state cluster and security posture.
• Coordinate with customer infrastructure/security/DB teams.
• Guide integration of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Extend ecosystem via Ambari Management Packs (Spark, Kafka, NiFi).
• Advise customer and enable long-term adoption.
