Job summary

Lyric is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for the Data Platform to design, build, and own production data pipelines across a multi-tenant environment using Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt. You will implement the canonical data model, ensure data quality, and build observability into the data path.

This hands-on role requires strong Python and SQL skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing contributions to the architectural direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience building production pipelines.
• Strong Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and Python expertise.
• Deep SQL proficiency and data modeling skills.
• Experience enabling self-service data for multiple teams.
• Experience with CI/CD and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own data pipelines using Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Implement production data models and ensure data quality.
• Instrument pipelines for observability and alerting.
• Collaborate with analytics and invoicing teams to meet data needs.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident reviews.
