Job summary

PadSplit, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Sr. Data Engineer to build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines across Dagster (or Airflow), dbt, and Snowflake, with supporting work in Python, Airbyte, and AWS. The role emphasizes end-to-end pipeline health and scalable data models.

You will own the Postgres to Snowflake to dbt flow, implement incremental loads, review PRs, and collaborate on data quality and reliability across analytics and product teams. This is a fully remote position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with modern data stack components (Dagster/Airflow, dbt, Snowflake).
• Strong Python data engineering skills for large-scale pipelines.
• AWS familiarity with S3, IAM, ECS/Fargate and cross-account access.

Responsibilities

• Open and merge PRs for data pipelines, models, tests, and docs.
• Tweak infrastructure with Terraform as needed for pipelines.
• Build and debug Python pipelines for REST/API syncs and large data loads.
• Manage Airbyte connections and oversee production runs.
