Job summary

AssureSoft is seeking a senior data engineer to design and operate scalable data pipelines in a remote-enabled U.S. team.

You will implement ETL/ELT using Python, SQL, and dbt, build ingestion and integration workflows with Airbyte, and optimize Snowflake data warehousing for performance and cost efficiency. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, ensuring data quality, monitoring, and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Senior data engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong Python skills for data processing, automation, and pipelines.
• Advanced SQL for complex transformations and performance tuning.
• Proven ETL/ELT design, development, and maintenance.
• Experience with dbt, Airbyte, Snowflake, and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Develop data transformation workflows using Python, SQL, and dbt.
• Create and maintain ingestion, synchronization, and integration pipelines.
• Model, optimize, and query Snowflake data warehouses.
• Ensure data quality, error handling, and pipeline monitoring.
• Troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analyses, and implement fixes.
• Write clean, well-documented code and documentation for SQL transforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders on data solutions.
• Participate in estimation and development planning, improve performance.
• Adopt CI/CD practices and AI-assisted development tools.
