Job summary

SummitStone Health Partners is seeking a Senior Data & Business Analytics Manager to lead the data and analytics function remotely. You will shape data platform strategy, governance, and enterprise reporting while partnering with clinical and executive leadership to drive data-informed decisions.

The role oversees data engineering, integration, governance, and privacy practices, delivering trusted metrics and actionable insights across the organization. Remote work is allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, health informatics, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence, including 10+ years directly managing technical staff.
• Advanced SQL and demonstrated ownership of a production data warehouse or Lakehouse.
• Hands-on experience with a modern transformation or orchestration stack (dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory).
• Production experience with an enterprise BI platform such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik, including governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Platform Strategy and Operations for scalable, cost-effective data architecture.
• Manage Enterprise Data Integration across clinical, operational, financial, HR, and external sources.
• Establish Data Modeling and Analytics Standards for consistent metrics.
• Oversee Data Engineering practices with governance and code review.
• Monitor Data Platform Performance and data freshness; drive improvements.
• Lead BI and Reporting to deliver dashboards and analytics for executives.
• Manage Enterprise Metrics, reporting governance, data lineage, and definitions.
• Partner with clinical and business leaders to translate needs into data solutions.
• Ensure regulatory reporting readiness and privacy controls.
