Job summary

SummitStone Health Partners seeks a Senior Data & Business Analytics Manager to lead data platforms, governance, and BI reporting, partnering with clinical and operational leaders to translate data into actionable insights. This remote, full-time role focuses on data integrity, privacy, and strategic analytics.

The role oversees data engineering, analytics teams, and enterprise reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance and secure data assets across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence, including 10+ years directly managing technical staff.
• Hands-on experience with a modern transformation or orchestration stack and enterprise BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Platform Strategy and Operations: Oversee data warehouse/lakehouse environment and data architecture.
• Manage Enterprise Data Integration: Develop data pipelines across clinical, operational, financial data sources.
• Establish Data Modeling and Analytics Standards: Maintain enterprise data models and standard metric definitions.
• Oversee Data Engineering Practices: Establish standards for development, testing, deployment, and governance.
• Monitor Data Platform Performance and Reliability: Ensure data pipeline health and data freshness.
• Lead Business Intelligence and Reporting Functions: Oversee dashboards and enterprise analytics.
• Partner with Business and Clinical Leaders: Translate business needs into data and reporting solutions.
• Support Regulatory, Quality, and External Reporting Requirements: Ensure timely regulatory reporting.
• Establish and Maintain Data Governance and Privacy Controls: Implement governance and privacy practices.
• Lead and Develop Data and Analytics Teams: Recruit and coach staff.
• Oversee Vendor and Budget Management for data initiatives: Manage investments and deployments.
