Job summary

Sidecar Health, Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Analytics Engineer to build the data foundation for product metrics.

You will design data models, develop pipelines, and define metrics in a Snowflake-first stack, using Claude and Snowflake Cortex to accelerate insights while ensuring privacy and compliance in healthcare. You will work with Product and Engineering, shaping data models early and driving end-to-end ownership from raw data to trusted metrics, in a remote role based in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in analytics or data engineering building data models and pipelines.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong SQL and dbt skills, including incremental models and testing.
• Hands‑on Snowflake experience, including semantic modeling.
• Experience working with product teams to define metrics and scope ambiguous problems.
• Fluency with AI coding tools like Claude; ability to validate AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models and semantic models in Snowflake for reliable metrics.
• Build pipelines behind models, ingest through transformation, and align with data engineering standards.
• Create AI-ready data, including metric definitions and documentation for Cortex/CoWork agents.
• Guide data design decisions with Product and Engineering to measure results from day one.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate roadmaps into measurable success metrics.
• Identify data gaps and drive resolution with Product and Engineering.
• Provide analysis to inform product decisions and evaluate feature performance, including experiments.
• Use AI coding tools to speed development and validate AI-generated code.
