Job summary

RLDatix is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to own and mature the security posture of our cloud-based SaaS solutions in healthcare, including the Microsoft 365 environment that supports them.

You will lead vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud/endpoint hardening while ensuring compliance evidence for HITRUST CSF and HIPAA obligations in a remote-friendly US role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or a related info security role.
• Proven success leading vulnerability management programs and incident response investigations.
• Deep knowledge of HITRUST, HIPAA, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2 or similar standards.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States and travel occasionally as needed.
• Interest in protecting healthcare data and collaborating across technical and business teams in a regulated healthcare tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability management across Azure, Microsoft 365, and SaaS environments to identify risks and prioritize remediation.
• Strengthen cloud, endpoint, identity, and data protection controls to defend against threats.
• Coordinate incident response activities for ransomware, phishing, and account compromises.
• Partner with Engineering, DevOps, Privacy, and Infrastructure to implement secure configurations and logging.
• Support HITRUST, HIPAA, and NIST-aligned security initiatives and customer security reviews.
