Job summary

24 Hour Home Care is actively seeking a Security Engineer to implement and enhance security across endpoints, networks, cloud, and data. You will coordinate with Security Operations, Infrastructure, and GRC to strengthen monitoring, detect incidents, and protect sensitive information in a healthcare setting.

The role requires hands-on expertise with SIEM/XDR, EDR, IAM, and vulnerability management, with a focus on HIPAA, SOC 2, and regulatory alignment. Remote-ready for eligible U.S. candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, security operations, cloud/security infra, or related roles.
• Experience implementing enterprise security technologies (SIEM/XDR, EDR, DLP, IAM, vulnerability scanning, etc.).
• Healthcare or regulated environments preferred; familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST CSF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and optimize security technologies across endpoint, network, cloud, identity, data, and apps.
• Support security monitoring and incident response activities (SIEM, XDR, EDR, investigations).
• Implement and maintain DLP and IAM controls, including access reviews and least privilege.
• Manage vulnerability scanning and remediation across cloud and infrastructure.
• Automate security workflows, reporting, and maintain runbooks and evidence.
