Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer for remote deployment within the United States. You will design secure AWS environments, apply Zero Trust principles, and secure AI/ML workloads in healthcare platforms.

Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and data science teams to strengthen security controls and governance. You will mentor colleagues, drive automated remediation, and support regulatory readiness (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2) while advancing DevSecOps and MLSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, CS, information systems, or related field; master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in cloud security/cybersecurity engineering with hands-on security controls experience.
• Strong experience securing AWS services and cloud security principles.
• Solid understanding of containerized environments and serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2 or similar regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve secure AWS architectures and cloud guardrails.
• Implement Zero Trust across cloud-native systems and endpoints.
• Lead security controls for AI/ML and generative AI applications.
• Drive threat detection, incident response, and compliance readiness.
• Mentor engineers and promote security best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with GRC, data science, and engineering to mitigate risks.
