Dexcom is seeking a Sr. Staff Cyber Defense Engineer to lead and architect advanced cyber defense initiatives. You will influence roadmaps, set design principles, and drive improvements across detection, response, and automation with senior leadership.

The role requires deep expertise in security telemetry, threat hunting, incident response, and MITRE ATT&CK, plus a track record mentoring engineers and analysts. Hybrid remote work is available in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success leading complex cyber defense initiatives.
• Expertise with SIEM, SOAR, XDR/EDR, NDR, identity and email telemetry, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Influence technical strategy and roadmap for Enterprise Cyber Defense capabilities.
• Serve as technical authority for cyber defense architecture and engineering practices.
• Own the enterprise detection engineering lifecycle: logic, rules, telemetry, validation, tuning.
