Job summary

Energy Systems Group, LLC. is hiring a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Public Sector Central team in Tennessee. This remote role requires 50% travel and overnight travel as needed.

The Senior Project Manager coordinates all aspects of project execution from design through installation and ongoing service, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction while managing contractors, budgets, and schedules. A bachelor’s degree and 7+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, with a preference for engineering or construction management.
• A minimum of seven (7) years' engineering and construction-related experience managing construction projects.
• Experience in developing schedules and managing project budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to work with customers and achieve customer satisfaction on every job.
• Demonstrated ability to work with others including customers in a professional and ethical manner.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of OSHA, Federal, and State Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering staff to ensure prompt estimates and pricing aligned with project goals.
• Maintain ongoing contact with the customer to schedule and coordinate all work and communicate progress, costs, and training.
• Assist engineers in obtaining quotes and manage all contractor/subcontractor work, ensuring on-time arrival of equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with ESG Management, Finance and Accounting to keep projects on track and within cost objectives.
• Review Project Metrics with project accountant and address under-billings or margin deviations.
• Monitor labor, materials, changes, and work completion to meet cost and time constraints.
• Oversee installation with contractors to prevent and resolve quality issues.
• Train and supervise project team members to meet objectives; ensure adherence to safety regulations.
