Job summary

Energy Systems Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for its Public Sector Central team serving the greater St. Louis area. This remote role requires 50-75% travel, including overnight stays, to manage design through installation and service phases of projects.

You will coordinate estimates, manage contractor/vendor selection, control project budgets, schedules, and communications with customers and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget completion and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams across design, procurement, and field operations.
• Experience managing construction projects from development to closure.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules, and change control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering staff to ensure prompt and accurate estimates and pricing.
• Maintain ongoing customer contact to schedule work and communicate progress, costs, and training.
• Source and manage subcontractors, vendors, and contracts to ensure on-time arrival of equipment and materials.
• Monitor project metrics, cost objectives, and margins; flag variances for action.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, and state safety regulations.
