Job summary

iBynd Semsee is seeking a Compliance Manager to own and mature a cross-entity compliance program in a fully remote role. You will oversee licensing, tax compliance, vendor contracts, and privacy obligations, partnering with Finance, Accounting, and Product to scale for growth.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in compliance within insurance, CPA or accounting background, and hands-on experience with surplus lines, licensing platforms (NIPR/Sircon/OPTins).

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of compliance experience in insurance.
• Direct insurtech or wholesale broker experience preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of premium trust and fiduciary accounting.
• Experience with multi-state surplus lines filings and taxes.

Responsibilities

• Own and mature the compliance program across iBynd and SEMSEE.
• Oversee licensing, tax filings, and contract governance.
• Partner with CO, Finance, and Product on privacy and AI governance.
