Job summary

Neeljym Search Group is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to architect and scale insurance programs for carriers, MGAs, Insurtechs, and emerging players in the US. You’ll drive concept through underwriting strategy, coverage, operations, and compliance, while delivering executable plans and maintaining client engagements across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• You’ll build programs from concept through underwriting strategy and implementation.
• Experience with carriers, MGAs/MGUs, or Insurtechs.
• Track record in underwriting guidelines, coverage and procedures.
• Hands-on with admitted and non-admitted environments.
• Strong understanding of underwriting profitability and risk.
• Excellent communication and project-management skills.
• Proficient with Jira, MS 365, and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and expansion of commercial P&C and specialty programs.
• Evaluate structure, underwriting appetite, economics, coverage, and distribution strategy.
• Translate underwriting strategy into guidelines, coverage concepts, procedures, and requirements.
• Manage multiple client engagements with priorities, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with actuaries, coverage counsel, underwriting, operations, data, tech, and client leadership.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data, automation, and AI to improve underwriting and operations.
• Research regulatory requirements and develop practical solutions for admitted and non-admitted environments.
• Create clear, executable deliverables while challenging assumptions.
