Job summary

Verisys is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep AWS expertise to design, build, and operate the infrastructure behind our healthcare credentialing platform. This role emphasizes security, reliability, and scalability across Windows and Linux environments, including on-prem Nutanix and container platforms.

You will own CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, ECS Anywhere, Rancher, and SSL/TLS management, while collaborating in a remote, ownership-driven team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or sys admin, including AWS production work.
• Strong Linux and Windows Server administration skills.
• Hands-on experience with Rancher and ECS Anywhere.
• Experience managing Nutanix infrastructure and SSL/TLS lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch).
• Manage infrastructure as code with CloudFormation and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Run container workloads on ECS/ECS Anywhere and administer Rancher Cattle clusters.
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments, including AD, DNS, IIS, and on-prem Nutanix.
