Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group seeks a seasoned Certified Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate a hybrid cloud environment across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will work with vendors, developers, security teams, and IT professionals to ensure secure, scalable solutions.

The role is primarily remote with Wisconsin relocation within 30 days if not already in state; occasional onsite may be required. Strong IaC, CI/CD, and compliance experience with NIST/1075 preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years designing and maintaining AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or another major cloud platform.
• Experience with cloud in regulated environments.
• 5+ years of infrastructure-as-code experience.
• 5+ years of containerization experience.
• 5+ years of GitHub-based CI/CD experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise networking, observability, and cloud cost management.
• 5+ years of Windows and .NET environment support.
• Strong scripting and cloud troubleshooting skills.
• Experience securing, automating and supporting enterprise hybrid clouds.
• Ability to transfer knowledge and document architectures clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, support, and maintain hybrid private and public cloud platforms.
• Review vendor cloud architectures and configurations.
• Identify risks related to architecture, security, scalability, and costs.
• Provide guidance on cloud networking, compute, storage, databases, identity, security, monitoring, and automation.
• Support cloud services across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with .NET teams on deployment, configuration, APIs, containers, and environment management.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code deployments.
• Incorporate security, privacy and compliance requirements into cloud architecture.
• Support IAM, encryption, disaster recovery, and vulnerability management.
• Document cloud architectures and operational procedures.
