ExtraHop is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud, to own the design, delivery, and operation of secure, scalable cloud services behind our cybersecurity platform. You will drive architectural decisions and ensure reliability and security across distributed systems.

You will lead complex initiatives end-to-end, collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams, and mentor engineers while raising engineering quality across the cloud domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6–8+ years of software engineering experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to design, build, and operate production-grade systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or similar languages.

Responsabilités

• Own the architecture, development, and operation of scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant cloud services.
• Drive design decisions for distributed systems and long-term platform evolution.
• Lead end-to-end initiatives from design to deployment and optimization.
• Build and scale cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes.
• Advance cloud security and compliance with IAM controls and encryption.
• Improve observability with monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
