Job summary

Bloomreach is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to partner with Engineering, DevOps, and IT. You will secure AWS environments, harden Linux and container workloads, and protect corporate infrastructure while collaborating with the SOC team on detection and response.

You'll own cloud security architecture, vulnerability remediation, and Splunk data integration, driving MTTR improvements and promoting secure IaC and CI/CD practices across the org.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cybersecurity engineering focusing on cloud/infrastructure security.
• Hands-on AWS security design with GuardDuty, Security Hub, KMS, Config, Inspector.
• Strong Linux admin and container security experience (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience securing corporate infrastructure and identity tools like JumpCloud or zero-trust IAM.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor security controls across AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Secure Linux servers and containerized workloads; manage host hardening and image security.
• Administer and integrate Splunk as a data platform with the SOC team.
• Lead vulnerability management, CVE lifecycle, and patching across cloud and on-prem systems.
• Develop security automation and tooling using Python/Go/Bash; implement policy-as-code in IaC and CI/CD.
