Job summary

Budgetly builds an AI-first expense management platform to simplify business spending and improve cash flow visibility. It is a small, fully remote engineering team with a light-touch structure, emphasizing autonomy and ownership.

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with hands-on DevOps and SecOps experience to design and build product features, own AWS infrastructure via CDK, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• Senior backend engineer with hands-on DevOps and SecOps experience.
• Deep AWS expertise including Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS Fargate, and EventBridge.
• Strong observability and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build product features using AI-assisted coding agents.
• Own AWS infrastructure and evolve via AWS CDK.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and embed security into SDLC.
