Job summary

Provenir Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and evolve our cloud platform. Lead the technical vision for AWS, Kubernetes (EKS, ArgoCD), and GitOps to boost developer velocity and resilience. You’ll bridge product needs with robust, AI‑enabled operations in a hands‑on role.

You will drive data infrastructure across Kafka, Druid, and Athena, and partner with Architecture, Product, and Engineering leadership to scale our enterprise platform.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in DevOps/SRE roles with Agile environment experience.
• Familiarity with GitOps and AI/ML in operations to reduce MTTR.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong ability to mentor peers and remove technical roadblocks.

Responsibilities

• Own the AWS technical roadmap and evolve to a self‑service, AI‑driven platform with GitOps workflows.
• Scale Kubernetes operations (EKS, Ingress, mTLS) and optimize with ArgoCD.
• Modernize CI/CD from Jenkins to cloud-native solutions like AWS CodeBuild/Step Functions.
• Integrate AIOps tools and Cursor to enable self-healing infra and autonomous pipelines.
• Drive data infrastructure involving Kafka, Druid, and Athena for high availability.
• Collaborate with Solution Architecture, Product Management, and Engineering leadership.
• Implement observability and cost-optimization using Grafana and CastAI.
