Job summary

CVRx, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Specialist II (Sr. Clinical Specialist) to provide clinical support for Barostim therapy across the territory, educate clinicians, and cover procedures in partnership with Territory Managers.

The role emphasizes travel within the Indianapolis area, collaborating with cardiologists, surgeons, and the commercial team to expand program adoption and ensure positive patient outcomes. A Bachelor’s degree and device experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with cardiology or cardiac surgery devices; heart failure experience prioritized.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships with key customer groups and CVRx staff.
• Ability to grasp medical/surgical and active implantable medical device concepts.
• Independent, self-motivated and able to introduce novel technology to market.
• Detail-oriented and reliable; able to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn Salesforce and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate product and clinical benefits of Barostim therapy to cardiologists and surgeons.
• Facilitate trainings on Barostim therapy for clinicians, office, and hospital staff.
• Provide technical support during implant and follow-up procedures and titrations.
• Develop plans with Territory Managers to communicate benefits to markets.
• Support program launches at new sites and sustain commitments.
• Drive utilization and expansion of Barostim therapy through education.
• Act as clinical interface between medical community and business.
• Meet with health care providers to identify clinical needs and provide solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of devices and programmers in Salesforce.
• Provide backup support to field staff as needed.
