Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group in the United States seeks a Supervisor, Commercial Casualty Claims to oversee complex auto and commercial injury claims, including litigation file handling, across states remotely. You will supervise First Notice of Loss queues and act as liaison with partner clubs.

Responsibilities include directing investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and closure of claims; ensuring policy coverage decisions are sound; managing workflows, budgets, and service levels; and mentoring

Qualifications

• 3+ years of casualty or bodily injury supervisory experience within a claims environment.
• Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associate in Claims (AIC), CPCU and/or ICAR designations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and conclusion of claims.
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates workflow of claims.
• Manages phone queues and daily operations of the business unit.
• Acts as claims Liaison for commercial customers and brokers to build and maintain relationships.
• Ensures compliance with Department of Insurance regulations and company procedures.
