Base pay range: $66,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

The typical starting salary depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles may include commission or bonus earnings.

Description

Personal Lines Casualty is hiring for a Senior Claims Resolution Specialist to manage attorney-represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims. Responsibilities include managing, investigating, and resolving claims, and providing prompt service to policyholders for claims of mild to moderate severity and/or complexity.

Applicants are preferred to live in the Pacific or Mountain time zones. Residing within 50 miles of Chandler, AZ, requires going into the office 2 days/month. Attendance and active engagement during training are mandatory. Excluded states: Alaska, California, Idaho, Washington.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, investigate, and resolve claims, evaluate coverage, liability, damages, and settle claims within authority.
  • Identify suspicious claims, refer to SIU, and opportunities for subrogation.
  • Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences; report status.
  • Confer with trial counsel and prepare reports.
  • Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, claimants; gather information and advise on actions.
  • Respond to inquiries and ensure reserves are adequate.
  • Manage security of financial processing and claims information.
  • Update files and generate reports.
  • Manage practices and billing activities of outside and in-house counsel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Personal Lines Third Party Auto Casualty experience.
  • 3+ years of Litigation experience.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and investigative skills.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal liability, insurance policies, and State Tort Law.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of related experience.
  • Ability to obtain proper licensing.
