Description

Personal Lines Casualty is hiring a Senior Claims Resolution Specialist to manage attorney-represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims. This role involves managing, investigating, and resolving claims, as well as providing prompt and quality service to policyholders for mild to moderate severity and/or complexity claims.

Applicants are preferred to reside in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Candidates residing within 50 miles of our Chandler, AZ office are required to attend the office 2 days per month.

Training is essential for success, and reliable attendance during training is mandatory.

Excluded states from eligibility include: Alaska, California, Idaho, and Washington.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage, investigate, and resolve claims, including evaluating coverage, liability, damages, and settling claims within authority limits.
  2. Identify suspicious claims, refer to SIU, and seek opportunities for third-party subrogation.
  3. Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences; report to management on the status.
  4. Coordinate with trial counsel and prepare trial reports.
  5. Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information and advise on actions.
  6. Respond to inquiries and provide status updates.
  7. Ensure reserves are adequate and recommend increases when necessary.
  8. Maintain the security of financial processing and claim information.
  9. Update files and generate reports as needed.
  10. Manage practices and billing activities of outside and in-house counsel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in Personal Lines Third Party Auto Casualty.
  • 3+ years of Litigation experience.
Qualifications:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and investigative skills.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal liability, insurance policy coverage, and State Tort Law.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of related work.
  • Ability to obtain necessary licensing.
