Description

Personal Lines Casualty is hiring a Claims Resolution Specialist to manage attorney-represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims. This role involves managing, investigating, and resolving claims, as well as providing prompt and quality service to policyholders for claims of mild to moderate severity and/or complexity.

Applicants are preferred to reside in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Candidates residing within 50 miles of our Chandler, AZ office, will be required to go into the office 2 days per month.

Training is essential for success, and reliable attendance is required. Active engagement during training is mandatory.

Excluded states from eligibility include: Alaska, California, Idaho, and Washington.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, investigate, and resolve claims, including evaluating coverage, liability, damages, and settling within authority limits.
• Identify suspicious claims and refer to SIU; seek opportunities for third-party subrogation.
• Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences; report to management on the status.
• Collaborate with trial counsel and prepare reports.
• Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information and advise on actions.
• Respond to inquiries and provide status updates.
• Ensure reserves are adequate.
• Maintain security of financial processing and claim information.
• Update files and generate reports as needed.
• Manage practices and billing activities of outside and in-house counsel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Personal Lines Third Party Auto Casualty Experience
• 2+ years of Attorney-Represented Claims Experience

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of legal liability, insurance policies, and State Tort Law.
• Typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 12-18 months of related experience.
• Ability to obtain necessary licensing.
