Job summary

CRC Group seeks a Senior Claim Specialist in the United States to manage a portfolio of moderately complex property and casualty claims from intake to resolution.

You will conduct investigations, review policy coverage, analyze facts, and negotiate settlements within authority while ensuring cost control and fairness. Collaboration with internal teams, legal counsel, and external vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management or related field preferred.
• 5–7 years of claims handling experience in property & casualty.
• Experience with claims management systems and standard office software.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of moderately complex property and casualty claims from intake to resolution.

• Provide responsive communication and superior service to policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred.


• 5-7 years of relevant claims handling experience with demonstrated knowledge of property and casualty insurance principles.


• Experience working with claims management systems and standard office software.

Certifications / Licenses / Registrations

• Appropriate state adjuster license(s) required or the ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.


• Industry certifications such as Associate in Claims (AIC) or CPCU coursework are preferred but not mandatory.


• JD preferred. but not mandatory.
