Job summary

Insure National is seeking a senior Commercial General Liability (CGL) claims professional for a fully remote role in the United States, excluding California. The candidate will handle advanced, litigated CGL files, manage strategy with defense counsel, and own claims end-to-end in a paperless environment.

Responsibilities include coverage analysis, setting reserves, and drafting complex coverage letters. This position requires 10+ years of CGL experience, strong communication, and authorization

Qualifications

• 10+ years of insurance claims experience with strong Commercial General Liability background
• Proven experience handling litigated and complex/severe CGL files, including coverage and litigation management
• Strong written/verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear, technical claim communications
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Manage advanced, litigated CGL claims end-to-end: investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution
• Perform coverage analysis and interpret policy language against loss facts
• Draft complex coverage correspondence, including Reservation of Rights and coverage position letters, as applicable
• Establish and continually evaluate loss/expense reserves for adequacy and accuracy
• Direct and control outside resources, including defense/coverage counsel, experts, independent adjusters, etc.
• Document claim strategy, plan of action, and file activity clearly and consistently
• Participate in roundtables and provide large loss reporting and other file reporting as needed
• Maintain/obtain required adjuster licenses and stay compliant with continuing education
