Job summary

J.m. Smucker is seeking a Senior Analyst, Category Leadership – Pet, to translate consumer insights into national category growth stories. The role involves developing leadership plans, collaborating with sales to identify retailer opportunities, and presenting category reviews backed by data from IRI, Circana, and Nielsen.

You will work remotely in the USA with potential sites in Tampa, FL or Charlotte, NC and travel up to 15% to support market opportunities and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in analytical sales or category management.
• Strong ability to translate insights into actionable business plans.

Responsibilities

• Translate and synthesize insights into national strategic category growth stories and initiatives.
• Identify key customer and channel opportunities informing JBPs.
• Develop Category Leadership Plan and roadmap based on insights and opportunities.
• Lead deployment of national stories into customizable category leadership plans.
• Translate Category Strategy into retailer-specific category stories and growth initiatives.
• Identify and activate against key retailer opportunities informing JBPs.
• Influence retailer category strategies through account-specific insights.
• Develop and present category reviews to grow total category sales.
