Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support, enhance, and implement software applications across the organization. The role oversees intermediate-scale projects, develops plans, and coordinates resources to meet business goals.

The ideal candidate has 4 years of relevant experience with advanced SQL and EDI-834, plus familiarity with QNXT/Facets. This fully remote position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering is required.
6+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
4 years of relevant experience is required.
Advanced SQL experience is required.
Experience with EDI-834 files is required.
Proficiency in SQL, HTML, and CSS is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to leverage technologies to improve business practices by designing and implementing application enhancements.
Liaise with customers and end-users, IT personnel and software vendors to align technology with operational processes.
Develop detailed test cases, execute them, and share results with business and tech managers for approval.
Work with developers to provide cost and time estimates on fixes and enhancements.
Perform longer term analysis and design of systems and hardware to maintain production environments.
Synthesize requirements and develop recommendations that best meet business objectives.
