Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (C#/.NET) for backend services across EDI processing and cloud-native systems on AWS. This 100% remote role involves building scalable solutions, validating EDI documents, and optimizing database operations in MSSQL.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in C#/.NET, strong SQL and AWS experience, and a proven track record delivering enterprise-grade applications. Collaboration in an agile environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering/technical discipline is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development using C#/.NET.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain C#/.NET/AWS backend services for high-volume EDI transactions.
• Parse, validate, and transform X12 EDI documents.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL stored procedures in MSSQL.
• Work with XML data in MSSQL and ensure code is clean and well-documented.
