Job summary

Canadian Solar’s e-STORAGE US unit is hiring a Sr. Business Development Manager in the United States (remote). This role leads the growth of new Energy Storage products and solutions, building strong partnerships with suppliers and customers and shaping the product roadmap.

You will drive opportunities, proposals, and commercial terms while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will need at least five years in Energy Storage, wind or solar, a proven BD track record, and the ability to

Minimum 5 years in Energy Storage, Wind and solar industries.
Proven track record in business development.
Confident decision making on product guidelines and directions.
Understanding of budgets and product-related expenditures.
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and proactively.

Responsibilities

Gather customer needs and market trends to align product strategy and roadmap in Energy Storage.
Identify opportunities, prepare proposals, budgets, pricing, and contract terms.
Develop and engage early adopter customers for testing and launch of new Energy Storage products.
Carry out feasibility studies and business plans for product/service improvements and new developments.
Assess competitiveness and stay updated on trends, pricing, and external/internal developments.
Coordinate with delivery teams or suppliers to ensure schedule and product alignment; support launches.
