Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Business Banking Underwriter III to evaluate loan applications and determine credit worthiness in accordance with lending policies. You will manage a personal pipeline and support commercial lending activities in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of underwriting experience in a centralized lending setting, with the ability to approve credits up to $3MM and handle more complex exposures up to $4MM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of business or commercial underwriting experience.
• Experience in centralized lending environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports Business Banking production with an individual pipeline.
• Reviews financials and credit information for sound decisions on complex loans up to $4MM.
• Uses single approval authority up to $3MM.
• Assesses risk profile of borrowers.
• Mentors new hires and supports UW I/II teams as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
