Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Business Banking Underwriter IV to assess credit worthiness for commercial loans in a centralized lending environment. You will handle complex deals, maintain your own pipeline, and support risk and credit teams while mentoring newer staff.

Role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of underwriting experience; leadership and authority to underwrite >$4MM are preferred. Office-based with flexible work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Business Banking loans to determine credit worthiness and policy compliance.
• Maintain an individual production pipeline and review financials and credit information.
• Make sound credit decisions on complex loans up to $10MM.
• Utilize authority to approve credits up to $4MM.
• Assist with training and mentoring and support UW roles as needed.
• Collaborate with credit and risk teams to meet department goals.
