Job summary
Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an experienced requirements analyst for a fully remote role focused on VA software projects. The position requires strong SAFe/Agile experience, extensive use of JIRA for requirements management, and collaboration with business users, IT, and leadership to document and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Engineering, 10+ years of professional experience, and the ability to coordinate with Systems
Qualifications
- Strong background in software development with SAFe/Agile.
- Excellent oral and written communication to diverse audiences.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer service focus.
- Experience conducting independent research to support complex questions.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
Responsibilities
- Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
- Document requirements in an ALM tool with stakeholders.
- Manage requirements in an ALM tool and in JIRA for backlog items.
- Perform Agile requirement management and user story elaboration.
- Analyze user needs to determine functional and technical requirements.
- Develop and verify acceptance criteria and traceability across artifacts.
