Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Senior Billing Manager to provide strategic leadership over the Billing Department across all offices. The role requires implementing process improvements, leveraging technology, and mentoring Billing Managers to drive timely and accurate invoicing.

The ideal candidate holds a accounting/finance degree, 7+ years of billing leadership experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of management experience in billing/financial management.
• Strong leadership and strategic initiative track record; experience in driving improvements.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for the Billing Department to align with firm objectives.
• Management and Coordination: Supervise Billing Managers and coordinate workflow for timely billing.
• Complex Billing Issues: Lead projects addressing complex billing issues and act as escalation point.
• Billing Process Administration: Oversee month-end closing, distribution of proformas, and processing of proformas.
• Reporting and Data Management: Review reports, build billing templates, ensure data integrity.
