Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design and deliver enterprise-scale BI, analytics, and data warehousing solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will lead BI design across domains, partner with leaders to define KPIs, and architect reporting with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos while shaping data models, integration processes, and governance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in BI, Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Analytics.
• Extensive experience delivering end-to-end BI and data warehouse solutions.
• Strong expertise with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos reporting platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, define KPIs, and deliver self-service analytics solutions.
• Experience designing enterprise data models, BI architectures, and reporting frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and bridge business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of BI and data warehousing solutions across multiple domains.
• Partner with business leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into analytics solutions.
• Architect and deliver reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos for enterprise decision-making.
• Design and optimize data models, data integration processes, and reporting frameworks leveraging SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams while supporting BI strategy and governance.
