Job summary

Cognizant in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design and deliver enterprise BI, analytics, and data warehousing solutions that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.

You will lead BI initiatives, partner with business leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into scalable analytics. You will architect reporting using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos, and work with SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake to optimize data models and integrations.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in BI, Data Warehousing, Reporting and Analytics.
• End-to-end BI and data warehouse delivery experience.
• Strong expertise with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos.
• Advanced SQL skills; hands-on with Oracle and Snowflake.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, define KPIs, and deliver self-service analytics.
• Experience designing enterprise data models, BI architectures, and reporting frameworks.
• Strong SDLC knowledge, Agile and Waterfall.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and bridge business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of BI and data warehousing across domains.
• Partner with business leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Architect and deliver reporting/dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Cognos across the enterprise.
• Design and optimize data models, data integration, and reporting frameworks using SQL, Oracle, Snowflake.
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams and support BI strategy and governance.
