Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design and deliver enterprise BI, analytics, and data warehousing solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will lead the design, development, and optimization of BI and data warehouse systems, partner with business leaders to define KPIs, and build reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos. This remote-friendly role is open to qualified applicants in the United States.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Analytics.
• Extensive experience delivering end-to-end BI and data warehouse solutions, from requirements gathering through production support.
• Strong expertise with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos reporting platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with Oracle and Snowflake databases.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, define KPIs, and deliver self-service analytics solutions.
• Experience designing enterprise data models, BI architectures, and reporting frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and bridge business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of BI and data warehouse solutions across multiple domains.
• Partner with business leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Architect and deliver reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos to support enterprise decision-making.
• Design and optimize data models, data integration processes, and reporting frameworks leveraging SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams while supporting BI strategy, governance, and best practices.
