Brown & Brown seeks a Senior Employee Benefits Analyst to join our team remotely from Florida. The role leads renewal analyses, RFP processes, and carrier evaluations for complex public sector benefit programs, delivering advanced financial insights and client‑facing presentations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in benefits analytics, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of ACA/COBRA regulations; public sector experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, analytics, brokerage, or consulting.
• Advanced experience with renewal and financial analysis, claims reporting, RFP development, and carrier evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex renewal analyses across all lines of coverage, including non‑marketed and negotiated plans.
• Evaluate claims experience, utilization trends, and financial performance to identify risks and cost drivers.
• Develop data‑driven recommendations for long‑term benefits planning and funding strategies.
• Lead the development and execution of RFP processes and analyze carrier proposals.
• Present renewal analyses and recommendations to client staff and leadership groups.
• Mentor analysts and ensure accuracy, quality and regulatory compliance.
