Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead analytics, data collection, and client consulting on a national scale. Remote-enabled role with occasional on-site needs in Florida; strong background in underwriting analytics required.

You will partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Benefits teams to deliver insights for renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and strategic decisions, while promoting operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or actuarial science
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead data analytics activities on a national scale.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision-making.
• Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Partner with Producers and Benefits teams by providing analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices to improve consistency and results.
• Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Recommend and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, analytical capabilities, and service delivery.
• Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders to support client objectives.
