Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. in the United States is seeking a seasoned backend software engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based cybersecurity solutions. You will build distributed systems, implement microservices, and ensure reliability at scale across AWS/Azure/GCP.

You’ll collaborate across teams to telemetry, observability, and debuggability, participate in code reviews, and guide junior engineers while working remotely from anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend modules for distributed systems using microservices.
• Experience deploying cloud-based solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP with IaC and CI/CD.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, Postgres, and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
• Experience building REST APIs with Spring Boot or Gin and proper authentication.
• Proficient in Go, Python, or Java with production-grade development.
• Strong debugging and tracing using Jaeger, Zipkin, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Collaborative coding, code reviews, and PR management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend software systems for cloud-based cybersecurity solutions.
• Create distributed systems architecture for endpoint management platforms.
• Participate in strategic technical initiatives focusing on sensor telemetry and system debuggability.
• Create and maintain high-performance cloud infrastructure components. Ensure system reliability and performance through monitoring, testing, and debugging.
• Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Implement microservices architecture for scalability.
• Design event driven systems using modern messaging patterns.
• Contribute to best practices for software architecture.
• Telecommuting is permitted 100% of the time from anywhere within the US.
