Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based cybersecurity systems. You will build distributed architectures for endpoint management, focusing on telemetry and debuggability, while ensuring high performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement microservices, and drive best practices in software architecture. Telecommuting is allowed 100% from anywhere within the US, with a competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Experience building backend modules for distributed systems with microservices and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying cloud solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP with IaC and auto-scaling.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, Postgres, and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
• Experience building REST APIs with JWT/OAuth and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java; strong debugging and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems for cloud-based cybersecurity solutions.
• Create and implement distributed architecture for endpoint management platforms.
• Lead sensor telemetry, system debugging, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Build high-performance cloud infrastructure components with monitoring and testing.
• Conduct root cause analysis and participate in code reviews and PRs.
