Job summary

SIVAD Consulting is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our AI-native operating system initiative for mortgage servicing. This remote role emphasizes ownership of backend features, scalable systems, and collaboration with Product and Design.

You will work with Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform to build robust infrastructure and ship production code. 3–10 years of experience and strong communication are required; experience with AI tooling is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience at scale.
• Strong communication across cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with Python, React, and cloud-native tooling.
• Experience with distributed systems design.
• BS in Computer Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owning features end-to-end in a startup environment with high autonomy.
• Building and scaling backend systems that handle billions of dollars in mortgage transactions.
• Leveraging AI tools to write and ship production code (human-reviewed, AI-assisted).
• Design and build robust and extensible infrastructure to handle evolving and complex regulations.
• Work with Product and Design to define the best experience for customers.
• Dive deep into understanding the inner workings of a highly complex industry.
• Learn new concepts and technologies quickly and apply them to challenging problems.
• Work across product and platform/infrastructure teams based on team matching.
