Job summary
Valon is building the AI-native operating system for regulated finance, starting with mortgage servicing. We’re seeking engineers to design and scale a modern platform, with offices in NYC and San Francisco and full remote options available.
You’ll work on a Python/React stack, and influence the evolution of a high-impact, regulated domain. You will collaborate with a tight-knit team to deliver scalable systems, explain technical decisions, and own meaningful pieces of our mortgage servicing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 1 year of software engineering experience building quality software at scale.
- Experience with web/mobile development or large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to balance product and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Learn new concepts quickly and apply them to challenging problems.
- Design and build robust infrastructure for evolving regulations.
- Dive deep to understand a highly complex industry.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver great customer experiences.
